We take great pride in building the highest quality fencing.

We will only use the highest quality hand selected building materials available. You will never see an A-1 Construction fence built with con-common redwood. The sapwood in con-common redwood makes the wood cheap but it will not last five years.

The board on board fencing below is one of the most popular fence style theses days. Some have lattice on top some don’t. Whether we build your fence in the winter or the summer your new fence will last for years and years. At A-1 Construction we will set your fence posts 24″ to 36″ deep in concrete never 18″ to 20″ like the other fence company’s. The fence we build for you will be well anchored and will not go down in a winter storm.

Board on board fencing can be built in three ways: #1; framed in between the posts and rails with 1″ x1″ retainers. #2; The top and bottom of the fence boards are framed in between the posts and rails with 1″ x1″ retainer with the bottom of the fence boards are attached two 1″ x6″ rails, one in the front of the boards and one in the back of the fence boards. In the third way the top and bottom rails are attached between the posts the fence boards are attached to the railing in a board on board pattern and then 1″ x4″ trim boards are attached to the fence board on the opposite side from the fence rails.
